People Magazine claims that Jennifer Lopez will dump Casper Smart the second she lines up a replacement swain.
Sources say she’s tired of her current boyfriend and her family is growing increasingly suspicious of him: “[Casper] moved into her life, and a little too easily, too. I think her family is watching him closely. Jennifer is the kind of girl who doesn’t like to be alone. Until she finds a replacement, I think, he’s around.” With People Magazine, it’s something of a given the story has been approved by the person’s publicist. Moreover, this weekend’s story may have come directly from Lopez’s manager, or from her publicist, or from her family.
RadarOnline.com offered specifics the next day: “[Jennifer] has been feeling more like Casper’s babysitter than girlfriend. Casper likes to hang out and party with the other dancers and that just isn’t Jen’s scene. She is all business and is the utmost professional. Jen is absolutely going to break up with him, they just don’t have a long term future together.”
Lopez has a pattern of slumming for a few months, lining up a replacement, then falling in love all over again. Dumping Smart now would fit her pattern, yes. Smart is lucky he got 10-months of rebound sex, and a stipend, and a reality show, and endorsement deals, and autograph sessions that he’s leveraging with Lopez’s co-sign. And perhaps, if he’s lucky, she may give him some amount of money to sign a confidentiality agreement so he cannot talk about the relationship once they split.
