Taylor Swift Receives Death Threats Over Rumoured Romance With 1D’s Harry Styles

Taylor Swift is coming out of the end of the the press tour for her Red album. During which fans have learned which songs are about which ex-boyfriends and that she only writes songs about guys who cheat or who are “bad.” Even though it’s her serial monogamy that’s covering Us Weekly Magazine, and the tabloids seem to want to know what’s “wrong” with her that’s driving these guys away, and she’s lying to guys about the songs she’s writing.

For example, she blithely told the New York Times that she once lied to a guy’s face and promised not to write about him: “The only time [being written about] has ever crossed someone’s mind was when we were in the process of breaking up. Of course I was like, ‘Oh, don’t worry, I won’t’ And then I did. Look, it’s not like it was written somewhere in the fine print that I write songs about my life. If we break up, I’m going to write about it. But I’m probably also going to write about when I fell in love with you. So there’s an upside.”

Part of the album’s promotion, the promotion for her single, is an appearance for X Factor on which Simon Cowell’s band One Direction also appeared. Co-host Mario Lopez confirms Swift, 22, and Harry Styles, 18, held hands and Styles lifted Swift over his shoulder backstage. And Swift introduced Styles to her mother during sound-check. So everyone’s marrying them off today (since everyone apparently forgot about Styles’ friend Ed Sheeran with whom it’s rumoured Swift also had a romance and she’s reportedly on-off with Conor Kennedy).

One Direction fans are less thrilled, however. With some posting death threats on Twitter directed at Swift. The Sun newspaper quotes one of the message: “I’ll murder Taylor Swift. She will not date my Harry” and another saying “If u dating my harry, I kill u.”
