Nicole Kidman & Faith Kidman Urban Cover Harper’s Bazaar Australia

Nicole Kidman covers Harper’s Bazaar Australia June 2012 while holding baby girl Faith Kidman Urban.

Kidman’s 18-month-old daughter has the familial shock of strawberry blonde curls, and that’s all we’ll see for now because you can’t see  the baby’s face (and she’s not wearing a cute little outfit, instead shielded by her mother’s coat). It’s a very simple cover, softened further by the elegance of the styling and backdrop, enough that Kidman’s crazy waxen face doesn’t distract unduly. And, one could posit, this is probably the newsstand cover despite the lack of verbiage. It’s all about Kidman and her baby for what they’re calling “Exclusive… Natural Grace: Nicole’s Greatest Role Yet” alluding to her casting as Grace Kelly over closer lookalikes such as Charlize Theron.

Kidman justifies including the baby’s photo on the cover: “I think it’s OK, because you can’t see their faces; they’re still protected. I feel it’s a really lovely way to celebrate being a mum and being a family, and they’re my daughters, and they’re Keith’s daughters [laughs] … you can see the hair!”
