Justin Bieber Covers Rolling Stone: “I Carry Myself In A More Manly Way”

Justin Bieber covers Rolling Stone Magazine under the headline “Hot, Ready, Legal” which the magazine already used for Lindsay Lohan’s coming-of-age cover in 2004.

The interview is really, really similar to Bieber’s past interviews. His shtick seems is pretty limited: tell girls they’re “princesses,” offer relationship advice, deign to talk about paparazzi, then talk about being a “swaggy adult.” His interviews aren’t bad, per se, but he needs some new material.

On growing up: “I feel like I carry myself in a more manly way. I don’t carry myself as a boy.”

On the paparazzi: Midway through a golf game at a private country club, Bieber and his entourage are confronted by paparazzi. Bieber responds by taking out his nine-iron and hitting a golf ball at them. “Watch, I’m gonna blast one at them.” He later tells an employee at the club that “we’ll probably never play here again.”

On making a girl feel special: “I make sure to do the little things. Like noticing when they get their hair done, or when they change their nail color. Also saying things all the time – like, ‘You’re very pretty.’”

On having sex: “I don’t think you should have sex with anyone unless you love them. I think you should just wait for the person you’re… in love with.”

Manager Scooter Braun on whether Selena Gomez will hurt Bieber’s fanbase: “Personally, I think that’s all a bunch of bulls**t. Yes, there’s gonna be some girls that if they see him with a girlfriend, it kills the dream — but there’s also gonna be girls that see him with a girlfriend, hear about the romantic things he does and want him even more.” - via Rolling Stone Magazine.
