Against best advice, and putting her recovery in jeopardy, Jessica Simpson started having sex with fiance Eric Johnson three weeks after she had a cesarean section.
There were rumours from In Touch Weekly ahead of the delivery that Simpson opted for a C-section fearing natural childbirth (her sister had a horrible time giving birth and a very, very protracted labour). That rumour was confirmed in Us Weekly a few days after the operation while Simpson was still recovering in hospital. And confirmed again for her horriby Photoshopped cover.
In the lede to the People interview it’s explained that Simpson had a C-section and, upon the release of the print edition, it was evident why that was mentioned. Because the 31-year-old had sex three weeks later, rather than waiting the six weeks recommended by some doctors. “I’ve kind of broken one rule,” she told the tabloid when asked about her activity and exercise just three weeks on. “I think I have the sexiest man in the world. So that’s the rule I break.” She’s risking injury and jarring of the incision before it’s healed.
