Continuing the Fashion Star promotional tour as episode two of the product placement-a-thon continues, Jessica Simpson appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to discuss what on earth she’s going to do when her waters break in four-weeks.
Expecting a 10-pound baby, she adds that she’s bursting with anmio and it won’t be pretty when the waters breaks: “I feel I have a bowling ball sitting on my hoohah! Apparently I have a lot of amniotic fluid, so whenever my water breaks it will be like a fire hydrant! I’m ready to push!”
Asked about having her baby with her fiance, previously having been adamant about no sex before marriage, she continued: “[Eric] feels like my husband already, we are just doing it a little bit backwards.”
Moreover, she’s over being pregnant and she’s ready to be a mother. She told People Magazine: “At this point, I’m really ready. I’m not sleeping very well; she moves all the time. I had a great pregnancy, but I’m ready for it to be over! It’s so much baby and so much amniotic fluid, it’s crazy. If we have a 10 pounder, pray for me! Right now, I can’t wait to just hold her in my arms.”
Of her baby shower, she told Kimmel: “It was a Charlotte’s Web thing. We had a whole fair. We had fried Oreos!”
A source told Us Weekly of the shower: “Jessica received tons of gifts mostly wrapped in pink gift wrap and boxes. There were several books, stuffed toys and clothes among other items.”
