Emma Stone’s Vogue Magazine July 2012 cover has been released (following the preview) along with its interview and Mario Testino photo shoot.
It’s a mixed bag, style-wise. The cover is probably the best part of the shoot. The rest feels a little confused, contrived, and posey. It’s not bad, it’s not ugly, it’s just hit-and-miss.
On her job as an actress: “I’m not saving lives. But I get to tell stories, and that’s a pretty important task.”
On acting as a child: “Comedy was my sport. It taught me how to roll with the punches.”
On how fashion impacts people: “It makes them feel like it’s an extension of themselves.”
The Amazing Spider-Man producer Matt Tolmach on Emma: “She’s stunning, so she’s disarming.”
The Amazing Spider-Man co-star/boyfriend Andrew Garfield on Emma: ”Working with Emma was like diving into a thrilling, twisting river and never holding on to the sides.”
The Amazing Spider-Man director Marc Webb on Emma: ”A lot of young actresses are either very serious or doe-eyed. Emma sidesteps that.” - via Vogue Magazine.
