Charlize Theron and Michael Fassbender cover W Magazine August 2012 promoting Prometheus in which they co-starred over a month ago (moreover, the promotional trail tapered off in May).
This is such an ill-timed cover, it’s hard to imagine why bother at this point. Prometheus had its trailers, its premiere, and its peak. It’s still being debated, but it’s mostly forgotten about as everyone is focused on The Amazing Spider-Man and The Dark Knight Rises. It’s a cover belated beyond all reason without any interview snippets even being released.
This is Theron’s second W Magazine cover this year. For the August cover, Theron and Fassbender were photographed by Mario Sorrenti with styling by Edward Enninful.
