Brenda Song and Trace Cyrus split shortly after announcing their engagement back in October 2011.
Cyrus, 23, confirmed in a statement that he and Song, 24, split “months ago.” It’s only been seven-months since they planned to marry.
He told Us Weekly: “Brenda and I have decided to go our separate ways. We split up a couple of months ago. We will continue to focus on our careers. I wish Brenda the best and much success in the future. I hope everyone can respect our privacy about this situation. Thanks so much.”
His sister Miley Cyrus, 19, is engaged to marry her fiance Liam Hemsworth.
