Avril Lavigne covers Hello! Canada Magazine with Chad Kroeger of Nickleback to whom she’s engaged as confirmed Tuesday evening by her rep to People.com.
Life & Style Magazine, People, and Us Weekly all confirmed back in January that Brody Jenner dumped Lavigne. In February, Lavigne began to date Kroeger with whom she co-wrote a song for her fifth studio album. A source tells People of Lavigne and Kroeger’s courtship: ”A romantic relationship blossomed as they spent time writing together.” Another source says: “He makes her so happy. Both of their families could not be more excited.”
Six-months later, Lavigne, 27, and Kroeger, 37, are on the cover of their native Hello! Canada Magazine on which she’s showing her 14-carat diamond engagement ring.
Lavigne tells the magazine what she sees in her fiance: “He makes me laugh every day. He takes care of me in every way and is extremely attentive.” Kroeger says of his fiancee: “I knew I was falling for her. It was incredibly powerful and something I’ll never forget. I feel like the luckiest person alive.”
